Once again New Zealand GC delivered! Weather, Course, Food………but not quite the result

An inventive scoring system gave Sedbergh, holders of the Lorwich shield a fighting chance despite fielding only 4 players against the might of 8 each from Dulwich and Loretto. Some matches were worth 2 points and some only 1. In the top match our HH hot shots of Hugo and Felix narrowly lost to a Loretto pair boasting one HH winner. In the second match David and Fergus earned a well earned half against Sedbergh whilst in the third match the two Toms won at a canter. The last match, unknown to James and Nick could have produced a tie overall but after being 2 up and then 2 down the match was halved leaving an overall score of Loretto 3.5, Dulwich 2.5 and Sedbergh 2.

After a spot of thirst quenching and a full-on 4 course lunch a leisurely 10 holes was played less competitively!
