The Grafton Morrish tournament

Grafton Morrish

As the Hewitt is limited to 64 schools, there are many former pupil societies that miss out. For that reason another scratch foursomes competition was set up in 1963. It is open to all members of the Public Schools Old Boys Golf Association. It is run on similar lines but with teams of three foursomes competing on a knockout basis at Hunstanton and Royal West Norfolk. It is also necessary to qualify to take part in the competition proper; something which has proved difficult for Dulwich in recent years.

Despite our recent blip, Dulwich has been quite successful in the Grafton over the years. Dulwich almost invariably qualified each year, won outright in the 1971 and lost in the final in 1985.
