It was great to see Felix Truckle back playing good golf after having recovered from his bad back.  Having forgotten his cap he was forced into wearing a wooly hat to control his flowing locks – not very ideal considering the glorious sunny weather.  Maybe this was part of the reason that he and Hugo Avshu allowed Roger  Kelly to take the skins game – five skins were won when Roger holed a seven iron at the 6th for an eagle.  In the other match Alex Mitchel  and David Rutnam  raced into an early 2up lead and maintained it till the turn when Mat Flint and James Ross played some beautiful shots and reduced the deficit, eventually  winning 2&1.
