Seven OA’s had a very enjoyable day at New Zealand on the 9th March. We were all amazed to be playing after the snow the previous day, but the course was in excellent condition, and the hospitality as excellent as ever.

We welcomed Nic Bennett for his first game with the OAGS along with some newer attendees and a few old stalwarts.

Jonathan Swinney won the day with a very good 36 points, just pipping our Captain Mat Flint by one shot.

The next event is of course the Halford Hewitt, and our next Society day is at Rye on the 26th April. It is always a joy to play at Rye, and it (almost) never rains, so please come along if you can.
