Our winter trilogy at Deal concluded with a match against St.Pauls.  Once again the wind blew and we had to overcome  a positive  Covid  result from our Halford Hewitt captain, Roger Kelly and an injury to David Rutnam. After some inspired re-jigging of the  pairings we fought a creditable 2-2 draw with wins for Jonathan and Freddie and Hugo playing as a single.

Deal really is a lovely place to be on a winter’s morning in January and February! So we came away from the three weekends with one win, one draw and one loss. We roll on to March and a HH trial day at RSG, hopefully without the thermals.
